ANNUAL EVENTS

Below is a list of events that happen every year which offer opportunity to perform.

If you would like your child to participate in any of the below, then

  1.  Talk to other parents in the batch so that there can be a group presentation.
  2. Let me know well in advance. We can use all the time we can get to practice and perfect our presentations.
  3. Make sure your child has the time for practice.
  4. Below list is to be read as : Event - Organizer - Time limit - Participating batch as suggested by teacher. 
  5. Batches mentioned are suggestions only. 



  January
  1.  Sankranthi Celebrations by Telugu Samiti of Nebraska - 15 min - Batch 2 (suggestion only)
  2.  Pongal Celebrations by Tamil Sangham - 15 min - Batch 4 and/ Batch 3, Individual group  (suggestion only)
  3. Republic Day by Indian Association of Nebraska - 5min - Batch 5  (suggestion only)
 

      March
  1.       Nrityaaradhana by Hindu Temple - 30 min - Batch 1 and Batch 3  (suggestion only)


        April
  1.       Ugadi celebrations by Telugu Samiti of Nebraska - 10 min - Batch 2  (suggestion only)
  2.       Tamil New Year celebrations by Tamil Sangham - 15 min - Batch 4,  Individual group  (suggestion only)


        August
  1.           Ganesha Chathurthi by Hindu Temple - 30 min. - Since I present interesting and sometimes rare pieces, its an opportunity to watch and learn. If a batch is performing, usually it is newer batch with about 5 -6 min performance time. 
  2.           Independence Day celebrations by Indian Association of Nebraska - 5 min - Batch 5 (suggestion only)
  3.            Annual Day of our School - ALL STUDENTS PARTICIPATE. MANDATORY.
  4.           Onam Celebrations by Kerala Samajam - 15 min - Batch 4, Batch 1 (suggestion only)


      September & October
  1.           Rhythms of India by Indian Association of Nebraska - 10 min - Batch 1 (suggestion only)
  2.           Deepawali Celebrations by Hindu Temple - 15 min- Batch 1 and Batch 3 (suggestion only)
  3.           Deepwali Celebrations by Tamil Sangham - 15 min -Batch 2 and Batch 4
